Please read these FinStyle Platform Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before accessing or using FinStyle.

These Terms apply to your access to and use of FinStyle, including the FinStyle mobile application, website, platform, tools, content, features, services, promotions, deals, products, payment features and any related services that we may provide from time to time.

By accessing or using FinStyle, creating an account, submitting information, uploading documents, purchasing products, redeeming deals, making payment, or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access or use FinStyle.

 

1. Who we are

FinStyle is operated by Vision Technologies Pte Ltd (UEN: 202003189M), a company incorporated in Singapore, with its registered address at:

In these Terms, “Vision Technologies”, “FinStyle”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Vision Technologies Pte Ltd and the FinStyle platform operated by us.

“You”, “your” or “user” refers to any person who accesses or uses FinStyle.

 

2. What FinStyle does

FinStyle is a technology platform that helps users access, organise and manage financial-related information, lifestyle services, professional services, merchant deals, promotions, products, events, content and partner services.

Depending on the features available from time to time, FinStyle may allow users to:

(a) create and manage a FinStyle account;

(b) upload, store, view and organise documents or information;

(c) view information from third-party platforms or service providers, where supported and authenticated by the user;

(d) give permission to selected persons, ambassadors, partners or service providers to view or assist with information in the user’s account;

(e) view educational content, articles, updates, calculators, estimates, summaries, reminders or tools;

(f) discover merchants, products, services, deals, promotions, vouchers or events;

(g) purchase products, vouchers or deals through FinStyle;

(h) make payments through FinStyle using third-party payment processors;

(i) receive introductions or referrals to third-party partners, merchants, ambassadors, financial services partners or professional service providers; and

(j) access other features that we may introduce in the future.

FinStyle may add, remove, suspend, modify or discontinue any feature, service, content, product, deal or functionality at any time.

 

3. What FinStyle does not do

Vision Technologies Pte Ltd is not a licensed financial adviser, insurance broker, insurer, fund manager or bank.

Vision Technologies Pte Ltd does not provide financial advisory services, insurance advice, investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, medical advice, mortgage advice, estate planning advice, trust advice or any other regulated or professional advice.

Any financial, insurance, investment, legal, tax, medical, mortgage, estate planning, trust, education, corporate, lifestyle or other professional service made available through FinStyle is provided by the relevant third-party provider, partner, merchant, adviser, representative, professional, firm or institution.

You should not treat any information on FinStyle as advice, a recommendation, an offer, an invitation, a guarantee, or a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

 

4. Important things to know

FinStyle is a platform. Third-party providers are responsible for their own products, services, advice, offers, fulfilment, fees, terms, suitability assessments and regulatory obligations.

Submitting information through FinStyle does not guarantee that any partner, adviser, merchant, insurer, lender, professional service provider or other third party will accept your request, approve your application, provide coverage, grant a loan, honour a promotion, provide a consultation, complete a transaction, or offer any particular price, rate, term or outcome.

Where information shown on FinStyle differs from the official terms, records, documents, statements, contracts or policies issued by a third-party provider, the third-party provider’s official terms and documents will prevail.

 

5. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to use FinStyle.

By using FinStyle, you represent and warrant that:

(a) you are at least 18 years old;

(b) you have the right and authority to agree to these Terms;

(c) all information you provide is true, accurate, complete and up to date;

(d) where you provide information about another person, you have obtained the necessary authority and consent to do so; and

(e) your use of FinStyle complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

FinStyle may be accessed by users in Singapore or elsewhere, subject to local laws and the availability of the relevant services, products, partners or providers.

 

6. Accounts and security

You may need to create an account to access certain features of FinStyle.

You are responsible for keeping your account, password, one-time passwords, biometric access, device access and login credentials secure. You must not share your account access with any unauthorised person.

You are responsible for all activity carried out through your account, whether authorised by you or not, unless the activity was caused by our fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access, misuse of your account, loss of your device, compromise of your password or any security issue relating to FinStyle.

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account or access to FinStyle if we suspect fraud, misuse, unauthorised access, unlawful activity, security risk, breach of these Terms, breach of law, regulatory concern, payment issue or any other matter that may affect the safety, integrity or operation of FinStyle.

 

7. User information, documents and permissions

You may upload, submit, store or share information and documents through FinStyle. This may include personal data, policy information, financial information, family information, dependant information, beneficiary information, transaction details, documents, notes or other materials.

You are responsible for ensuring that all information and documents you provide are accurate, complete, lawful and not misleading.

If you upload or submit information about another person, including a spouse, child, parent, dependant, beneficiary, insured person, policyowner, nominee or other third party, you confirm that you have the necessary consent, authority or legal basis to do so.

FinStyle may allow you to give permission to selected persons, ambassadors, partners or service providers to view, assist with, input, manage or analyse information in your account. You are responsible for choosing who you grant access to. You may withdraw or change such permissions where the platform allows.

We are not responsible for any loss, claim, dispute or issue arising from permissions that you voluntarily grant to another person, ambassador, partner or service provider, except to the extent caused by our fraud, wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

 

8. Third-party information and authentication

FinStyle may allow you to view information from third-party platforms or service providers, including investment platforms, financial platforms or other systems, where supported.

You may need to authenticate with the relevant third-party platform or provider before such information can be shown in FinStyle.

FinStyle does not guarantee that third-party information will always be available, complete, accurate, updated or error-free. Third-party platforms may change, restrict, delay or withdraw access at any time.

You remain responsible for checking official records, statements, documents and communications from the relevant provider.

 

9. Ambassadors and partners

FinStyle may work with ambassadors, financial services partners, professional service providers, merchants, advisers, representatives, firms, institutions and other partners.

“Ambassadors” means individuals, representatives, partners or collaborators who may promote FinStyle, introduce users to FinStyle, arrange events, facilitate referrals, assist users with the platform, input information, analyse information entered by users, or support user engagement.

Ambassadors may be independent third parties and are not employees, agents or representatives of Vision Technologies unless expressly stated.

Some ambassadors may also be licensed financial representatives, financial advisers, insurance representatives, mortgage advisers, legal professionals, tax professionals, medical professionals or other regulated persons in their own capacity. Any advice, recommendation, analysis, service or professional work provided by such persons is provided in their own capacity or under their own firm, licence, appointment, professional obligations or regulatory framework, and not by Vision Technologies or FinStyle.

FinStyle does not guarantee, endorse or assume responsibility for any advice, recommendation, representation, statement, omission, product, service or conduct of any ambassador, partner, merchant, adviser, representative, professional or third-party provider.

 

10. Financial, insurance and professional services

FinStyle may display, introduce or facilitate access to financial services partners, insurance providers, investment platforms, mortgage providers, legal service providers, trust and estate planning providers, tax service providers, medical and dental providers, education and training providers, corporate service providers, lifestyle merchants and other professional or commercial providers.

Such third parties are responsible for their own services, terms, advice, suitability assessments, fees, fulfilment, professional duties and regulatory obligations.

Any engagement between you and such third party may be subject to that third party’s own terms, engagement letter, privacy policy, professional rules, regulatory requirements, fees, disclosures and processes.

FinStyle is not responsible for determining the suitability of any product or service for you. You should conduct your own checks, read all relevant terms, and seek independent advice where appropriate.

 

11. Content, calculators, tools and estimates

FinStyle may provide content, educational materials, articles, event materials, updates, push notifications, reminders, calculators, estimates, summaries, projections, portfolio views, policy summaries, financial-related information or other tools.

Such information is provided for general information, convenience and platform purposes only.

It may be based on user-provided information, third-party information, assumptions, estimates, historical data, market data, platform calculations or automated processes. It may not be complete, accurate, updated or suitable for your circumstances.

You should not rely solely on FinStyle content, calculators, summaries, projections or tools when making financial, insurance, investment, legal, tax, medical, mortgage, estate planning or other important decisions.

We may introduce automated, algorithmic or AI-assisted features in the future. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such features are for general information and platform assistance only, and do not constitute advice or a recommendation by Vision Technologies.

 

12. Products, deals, vouchers and merchant services

FinStyle may operate features similar to an e-commerce, deals, vouchers or marketplace platform. Users may be able to purchase physical products, digital products, vouchers, promotions, merchant deals or other items through FinStyle.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the relevant merchant, seller, service provider or third-party provider is responsible for the product, service, voucher, promotion, deal, description, availability, quality, safety, legality, fulfilment, warranty, exchange, refund, cancellation, redemption, support and customer service.

FinStyle may receive payment from users and may hold funds until the relevant service, product, voucher, deal or transaction is fulfilled or deemed fulfilled, depending on the transaction type and platform process.

FinStyle may use Stripe or any other third-party payment processor to process payments. By making payment through FinStyle, you agree to comply with the relevant payment processor’s terms and policies.

Prices, promotions, availability, voucher terms and deal conditions may change. Merchants and providers may impose their own terms, eligibility requirements, usage limits, expiry dates, blackout dates, redemption processes, refund policies and cancellation policies.

Refunds, cancellations, exchanges and disputes are subject to the relevant merchant’s or provider’s terms unless we expressly state otherwise. FinStyle may assist with payment, communication or dispute routing, but the final outcome may depend on the merchant, provider, transaction type and applicable law.

 

13. Payments

You are responsible for ensuring that any payment method used on FinStyle belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it.

You agree to provide accurate billing, payment and transaction information.

We may reject, cancel, reverse, withhold, delay, suspend or review any transaction if we suspect fraud, abuse, payment failure, unauthorised use, breach of these Terms, merchant dispute, regulatory issue, technical error or any other issue affecting the transaction.

We are not responsible for fees charged by your bank, card issuer, payment provider, currency conversion provider or any other third party.

 

14. Communications

By using FinStyle, you agree that we may contact you through app notifications, email, SMS, WhatsApp, phone call, social media message or other communication channels you provide to us.

We may send service-related messages relating to your account, security, transactions, payments, support, requested services, partner referrals, document access, reminders, platform updates or changes to these Terms.

We may send marketing, promotional or partner-related messages where permitted by law, where you have consented, or where otherwise allowed under applicable data protection and marketing rules.

You may withdraw consent or opt out of marketing communications where applicable. Some service-related communications may still be necessary for us to provide FinStyle to you.

 

15. Privacy Policy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If there is any inconsistency between these Terms and the Privacy Policy in relation to the collection, use, disclosure, retention, protection, transfer, access, correction or handling of personal data, the Privacy Policy will prevail to the extent of that inconsistency.

16. Acceptable use

You must use FinStyle lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

(a) use FinStyle for any unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, harmful or unauthorised purpose;

(b) impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority or relationship with any person;

(c) submit false, inaccurate, misleading, defamatory, infringing, unlawful or harmful information;

(d) upload viruses, malware, spyware, harmful code or any material that may damage, disrupt or compromise FinStyle or any user;

(e) scrape, crawl, data-mine, copy, extract, harvest or collect information from FinStyle using bots, scripts, automated tools or unauthorised methods;

(f) abuse APIs, promotion codes, referral systems, vouchers, deals, payment systems or platform features;

(g) interfere with, overload, disrupt, test, scan or compromise the security, performance or integrity of FinStyle;

(h) attempt to bypass authentication, security controls, access controls, payment processes or user permissions;

(i) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, copy, reproduce, sell, resell, license, sublicence, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from FinStyle, except as permitted by law or expressly authorised by us;

(j) access another user’s account, documents or information without authority;

(k) use FinStyle to send spam, unsolicited messages, harassment or unlawful communications; or

(l) do anything that may harm FinStyle, Vision Technologies, our users, partners, merchants, ambassadors, service providers or third parties.

 

17. Intellectual property

FinStyle, including its software, design, interface, branding, logos, text, content, graphics, workflows, tools, systems, databases and other materials, is owned by Vision Technologies or our licensors, unless otherwise stated.

You may use FinStyle only for your personal or authorised business use in accordance with these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

Third-party brands, logos, trademarks, content, product information, merchant materials and provider materials remain the property of their respective owners.

By submitting feedback, suggestions, ideas, comments or other non-personal submissions to us, you agree that we may use them to improve FinStyle without compensation to you. Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

 

18. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a useful and reliable platform, but we do not guarantee that FinStyle will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, compatible with all devices, or free from defects.

FinStyle may be affected by maintenance, updates, internet issues, device issues, third-party provider issues, payment processor issues, cybersecurity issues, outages, force majeure events or other matters beyond our control.

We may update, modify, suspend, withdraw or discontinue any part of FinStyle at any time, with or without notice.

You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining the device, software, internet access, mobile access and data services needed to use FinStyle. Your network provider may charge fees.

 

19. Account closure and data retention

You may request to close or delete your FinStyle account, subject to identity verification and our operational, legal, security and retention requirements.

Where you request account deletion, we will handle the request in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable retention policy.

We may retain certain information where necessary for legal, regulatory, audit, tax, accounting, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backup, transaction, compliance or legitimate business purposes.

Closing your account may not automatically cancel transactions, payments, vouchers, merchant obligations, partner engagements or third-party services already entered into.

 

20. Disclaimers

FinStyle is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, representations and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, reliability, availability, merchantability, fitness for purpose, non-infringement, security or uninterrupted access.

We do not guarantee that:

(a) FinStyle will meet your requirements;

(b) any information on FinStyle will be accurate, complete, updated or error-free;

(c) any third-party product, service, deal, voucher, promotion, provider, merchant, ambassador or partner will be suitable for you;

(d) any transaction, application, referral, request, redemption, consultation or purchase will be accepted, completed, fulfilled or successful;

(e) any third-party platform, authenticated data source or partner system will remain connected or available; or

(f) FinStyle will be free from bugs, errors, viruses, cyber threats, unauthorised access or service interruptions.

We take reasonable measures to protect FinStyle, but no platform, communication system, internet transmission or storage system is completely secure.

 

21. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vision Technologies, FinStyle and our directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates and representatives will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss or damage, or any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity, data, anticipated savings or reputation, arising from or related to your use of FinStyle.

We are not responsible for any loss, claim, damage, dispute, cost or liability arising from:

(a) your reliance on information, content, calculators, estimates, summaries, projections or tools on FinStyle;

(b) your dealings with any merchant, ambassador, partner, adviser, representative, professional, financial services partner, insurer, lender, service provider or third-party provider;

(c) any third-party product, service, advice, recommendation, offer, voucher, promotion, fulfilment, delay, non-performance, defect, error, omission or misconduct;

(d) inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information provided by you or any third party;

(e) unauthorised account access caused by your failure to secure your device, password, OTP, biometric access or account credentials;

(f) interruption, suspension, downtime, error, system failure, cyber incident or loss of access;

(g) payment processor issues, card issuer issues, chargebacks, bank fees or third-party payment failures; or

(h) matters outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Where our liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to FinStyle or these Terms will be limited to the higher of:

(a) the amount you paid to FinStyle for the relevant transaction giving rise to the claim; or

(b) SGD 100.

 

22. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vision Technologies, FinStyle and our directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates and representatives from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or related to:

(a) your breach of these Terms;

(b) your misuse of FinStyle;

(c) your violation of law or third-party rights;

(d) information or documents you submit, upload, share or make available through FinStyle;

(e) your failure to obtain authority or consent to provide another person’s information;

(f) your dealings with any third-party provider, merchant, ambassador, partner, adviser, representative or professional; or

(g) any fraud, negligence, misconduct, omission or misrepresentation by you.

Our usual support hours are 10.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, excluding Singapore public holidays.

If your complaint relates to a third-party product, service, adviser, representative, merchant, professional provider or financial services partner, we may direct you to the relevant third party. We are not responsible for resolving complaints on behalf of third parties, but we may assist with routing or communication where appropriate.

 

24. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time.

The latest version will be made available on FinStyle, our website or any other channel we designate. The “Date of Last Revision” will indicate when the Terms were last updated.

Your continued use of FinStyle after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using FinStyle.

 

25. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.

You agree to first contact us and attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith.

If the dispute cannot be resolved, the courts of Singapore will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

 

26. General terms

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

Our failure or delay in enforcing any right under these Terms does not mean we waive that right.

You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.

We may transfer or assign our rights or obligations under these Terms in connection with a merger, restructuring, acquisition, sale of business, change of control, transfer of assets, or operation of the FinStyle platform.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms that apply to specific features, products, services, promotions, transactions or campaigns, form the agreement between you and Vision Technologies in relation to your use of FinStyle.
